A Fazier alternative where the position has a price instead of a tier
If you want a launch day with a vote, a page that stays up and a link from a well-rated domain, Fazier is a fair buy. On its submit page (read 6 September 2026) $29 gets you on without the wait or the link back, and $119 pins you to the top of the home page as a sponsor for fifteen days.
If what you want is a position rather than a tier, The Board lists a brand for a dollar, ranks every listing by what it paid, prints every amount, and counts the traffic with Fathom on a dashboard it cannot edit.
The Board is ours, so read this with that in mind. Every listing on it is a paid placement, its position is decided by money and by nothing else, and nothing on it is editorial. The figures for Fazier were read from its own pages on 6 September 2026 and are linked at the foot.
What Fazier is, and what it costs
Fazier is a daily launch site. Products go up grouped by day, each carries a vote count, and the home page keeps a top list for the week and the month. You sign up, fill in a name, a tagline, a description, a category and a thumbnail, and a person approves it; the same product may launch again after six months if it has changed enough. The site does not say in words how the day's order is decided. Third-party guides say votes, and the Lite tier's promise of a link for the top three daily products implies a daily top three.
Every tier is a one-time payment, and every paid one shows a list price struck through. On the submit page on 6 September 2026: Basic is free, reviewed and listed within 30 days, featured on the home page if selected, and requires a link to Fazier on your home page or footer. Lite is $29 (listed at $39) and publishes now or on a date you choose. Premium is $49 (listed at $69) with fifteen days of promotion across the site and a badge beside the name. Super is $119 (listed at $149): the top of the home page as a sponsor for fifteen days. The advertise page sells a newsletter slot at $39 and a fifteen-day placement across the site at $49. No refund policy appears on the submit page, the terms or the help centre.
The reach is Fazier's own. The advertise page claims 950,000 visits, 7,500 products launched and 2,500 newsletter subscribers; its Substack says over 5,000 subscribers. The outside estimates disagree with each other more than they disagree with Fazier: Launch Directories (updated 5 September 2026) puts monthly traffic at 253, LaunchPedia at 6,000, and a help centre page last updated 1 August 2024 reported 6,000 page views in a month. Nothing on the site is counted by anybody but Fazier.
The price of a place, and the price of the top
Two prices matter: what it costs to be on the page at all, and what it costs to be the one everybody sees first. Drawn to scale, with The Board’s top spot read live from the board.
A log scale: every gridline is ten times the last, which is the only way a dollar and a five-figure sum fit on one line. Prices on the left are Fazier’s as read on 6 September 2026; the top spot on The Board is $101 as this page was built and changes as the board does.

How The Board works, for somebody leaving Fazier
Fazier sells tiers; The Board sells positions. There is one price to get on, a dollar, and the listing is a logo, a line and a link at whatever rank a dollar buys on a page ordered by what each brand has paid. There is no Basic and no Super, no review, no thirty-day wait and no link you have to put on your own site. Nobody has to select you for the home page, because there is one page and every listing is on it.
The rule for the order is written down and it is short: the amount is the rank. Rank 01 costs a dollar over whatever the holder has paid, every amount is public, and the position holds until somebody pays more rather than for fifteen days. Hold the top for thirty days and the season ends: the standings freeze on a permanent page and every amount resets. Fathom counts the page views and outbound clicks and publishes them, so the number you are buying against is not the seller's.
Where Fazier falls short, and where it wins
- The site does not say how the order is decided. Each tier describes what it buys, and none of them describes the rule that puts one product above another on the day.
- The free tier costs a link on your own site and up to thirty days, and the home page feature is only if selected. Free here is a queue with a condition attached.
- The reach is self-reported and the outside estimates run from a few hundred visits a month to a few thousand, against a claim of 950,000 all time. There is no refund policy to fall back on if the number turns out small.
- The prices are clear and paid once. Four tiers, each with a list, no subscription, and the two paid promotions have a stated length.
- The page is permanent and the paid tiers come with a link from a domain Launch Directories rates at 83, which is a real asset for a site trying to rank.
- The top of the home page is for sale at a fixed price, which is more honest than a voted top that can be worked.
Which to pick
- You want a launch day with a vote and a permanent page, and a link from the site matters to you.
- You are happy to pay $29 to skip a queue you could otherwise wait out for free.
- You want a fixed fifteen days at the top and $119 is worth that to you.
- You want to know the rule that orders the page before you pay.
- You want a position that lasts until somebody pays more, not a promotion that ends on day fifteen.
- You want the reach counted by somebody who is not selling the tier.
A listing is a logo, a line and a link. Rank 01 costs $1 more than whoever holds it, every amount on the page is public, and the traffic is on a Fathom dashboard anyone can open.
