outbid.lol is the original of the category and it still has the crowd: over a million visitors on its own counter and a top spot that cost $17,000 on 6 September 2026. If you want to be seen on the board everybody is looking at this month, that is the board, and a new listing there starts at $10.

The Board is ours, so read this with that in mind. Every listing on it is a paid placement, its position is decided by money and by nothing else, and nothing on it is editorial. The figures for outbid.lol were read from its own pages on 6 September 2026 and are linked at the foot.
What outbid.lol is, and what it costs
outbid.lol went up on 19 August 2026 with one rule: pay, and the amount is your rank. Its press release five days later claimed a million visitors and $120,000 in bids in the first 48 hours. On 6 September its own counter read 1,511,579 visitors and 2,805 listings, with the top spot held at $17,000 and priced at $17,005 to take.
The rules have moved since launch. Coverage in August put the minimum bid at $5 or $2 depending on the article; the rules page now says $10 minimum in whole dollars and at least $5 over the holder to take rank 01. The terms, effective 19 August, name Dodo Payments as the processor, say every payment is final, and reserve the operator's right to change or discontinue the ranking formula.
Hundreds of copies followed. The directories that track them disagree on the count, from 355 to 692, and most of the copies have no terms, no named operator and no counter but their own. The Board is one of the copies too, and this page is the comparison it owes you.

How The Board works, for somebody leaving outbid.lol
The mechanic is the one outbid.lol made famous: pay, and the amount is your rank. What The Board adds is the part a ladder needs to be worth standing on. A season ends when one brand holds the top for thirty days, the standings freeze on a page that cannot be taken from the winner, and every amount goes back to zero, so a dollar is never rank two thousand for ever.
The terms are dated and the ratchet is in them: an amount, once paid, never goes down, and only a season ending resets it. Payments run through Stripe against a public profile, the founder has a name and a city, and the traffic is counted by Fathom on a dashboard the site cannot edit. Other players may pay to sabotage a listing or protect it; sabotage changes how a listing looks, never what it paid.
Where outbid.lol falls short, and where it wins
- The ladder never ends. There is no season and no reset rule, so the top is priced at $17,005 and a dollar lands at rank two thousand and something.
- The formula can change. The terms say so, and the minimum has already moved twice in eighteen days.
- The counter is the board's own. A board that counts its audience and sells rank against the count is marking its own exam.
- It has the crowd. Whatever the exact figure, more people are looking at outbid.lol this month than at any copy of it.
- It has terms, an imprint and a named operator, which puts it ahead of most of the boards that followed.
